11am rib sampling tickets will go on sale at the door, not noon as previously stated. Doors open at 11am, it just makes sense to get our customers set up with all the goods then. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you for our event!

We went down to the King Turkey Day Smokin' Gobbler BBQ Cook-Off master series this past weekend we didn't get any calls but had a good cook here is how it went.
Friday night Rib burn
7th place
Turkey sucked we were not happy with it and either were the judges

14th overall out of 34 really good teams just missed the top 10

Late post here, we went on a road trip to Stanley WI to 1st time competition put on by Deano and BigTen Bones what a great competition, it was definitely a great time we were able to hang out with our BBQ Brothers and sisters. It was definitely worth the trip, here is how we did.

Come on out Saturday to the Hugo lions club peoples choice starts at 4pm it looks like the weather is going to be great.

Each team will need to supply its own cooker. All types of cookers are welcome, however, you must also supply your own power source as there will be no electricity available. All cooking must be done on-site other than sauces.

Today we competed in hugo at the Legion Family Day the weather turned out great it didn't rain. We took 1st place Peoples choice the line of people were non stop from the 1st minute we start serving. Thanks again to everyone that came out today. We will be back next year. Now a week off before Minnesota in May.

Sorry for the late post,we went and did a competition in St Francis at Tastys Pizza Bar and Bowl. Last Saturday we had a great time we finished 2nd place in People's choice out of 17 teams, there was a great turn out and People's reviews were great they loved our food, which is always great to hear. We also now have our own seasoning, Dawgs og 🔥 we will have it for sale at all our competitions. Congratulations to my Brother from another Bbq mother Lucky shoes for a 1st place call with judges and Big Racks Barbecue on a very close 2nd place call. I also want to congratulate Big Bear BBQ for his 3rd place call you are on fire this year.

We will be at the American Legion Family Day this Saturday for a baby back rib competition. Ribs go on sale at 4:00 there will be a bunch of things going on all day so come on out and say Hi if you're in the area.

Then in 2 weeks we be at Minnesota in May the 1st Kcbs competition in Minnesota.

Hope to see everyone out on the Bbq trail this season.
