We had so much fun at our first show this year!! All of the girls did amazing! They were given the chance to show off the skills they’ve been developing in their lessons for all their friends and family!
Thank you so much to all of our volunteers that came out to help! Without you it would not have been possible to have the show! And thanks to Sunrise North Therapeutic riding for letting us use their horses so more girls could participate!
We hope to get the chance to hold another show soon!

We have spots available most weekends to host Birthday Parties!
If your child and their friends are interested in learning more about horses and getting to take a ride, then this would be a great birthday present!
The kids will make a craft, brush, and then ride the horses along with learning a few facts about the horses along the way! In warmer weather we’ll ride down the beautiful trail of the forest preserve. If it’s cold or raining, we have a spacious indoor arena to ride in!

The Ellis Equestrian Center offers exceptional riding lessons catering to early beginners through advanced riders. Both English and Western styles are available. Lessons are customized to address individual students' needs and goals, facilitated by experienced instructors. Lead line, private, and semi-private lessons are provided year-round. Riders can now register for the Ellis In-House Show on May 10th to demonstrate their progress.

We provide beginner riding lessons, English and Western, with an emphasis on safety, care for the horse, and how to communicate with your horse, for all ages! If you or your child are interested, consider giving us a call!
