We are so sad to share that Casper, one of our sweetest lesson horses, passed away Monday morning.

Casper was a rescue horse who was helped by a good friend of ours. He was given to our program because of his incredibly sweet and docile nature.
He was loved by our students and everyone who came to visit us for birthday parties or camps. We always had birthday kids excited when they saw they were going to ride “the white horse”!
Casper was so smart, taking care of all of his riders with such kindness. His favorite thing was to be brushed, everytime he’d fall asleep in the cross ties!
He was a true unicorn in soul, body, and mind. He was well into his twenties and it was just his time to go. But we hope and believe we gave him a peaceful and happy life after so much hardship he had to endure before coming to us.
We hope to remember him for all the good that he was, and we hope you all remember the good memories you had with him as well!

We hope everyone is having a good fall and have a happy and safe Halloween this weekend!
As it gets colder we move our lessons to our spacious indoor arena! This week we begin our last full session of lessons for the year! We’ll have one more mini-session of 2 weeks before our holiday break!

We hope everyone has a good back to school season! We still conduct lessons through the fall and winter and we have openings in the evenings!
Ellis House Equestrian teaches english and western beginner lessons to all ages all the way from the walk to the canter with a huge emphasis on safety and over all understanding of how our horses move!

We had a super fun time at our Overnight Camp this weekend! The girls learned all about everything needed to take care of a horse and had a blast riding everyday!
