I wanted to let you know that I have made a very difficult decision to take a break with Sweet Petite Floral. While it has brought me immense joy to create beautiful flower designs and bring smiles to so many faces, I feel I need to listen to the nudge to bring the focus back to my family. To be honest, I need to focus on my mental health to better serve my family.

I don’t know if you are familiar with me personally but I am foremost a stay at home mom of 4 young kiddos. God allowed me to discover this talent of floral design he tucked inside of me when I needed something of my own after having our youngest. I was feeling lost and He spoke to me through flowers one day. I am so thankful I listened and jumped into the floral world somewhat blindly.

I hope to come back to Sweet Petite at some point in the future, maybe when all the kids are in full-time school and can fully commit to idea of creating flower designs on a consistent basis. I may still do pop-ups at holidays or just because, small events and freelancing opportunities as life and opportunities allow. I’ll keep you posted here with any updates.

Again, I am so incredibly thankful and humbled that anyone saw the beauty in what I created! Thank you all for your support!!!

Summer loving had me a blast!
Summer loving happened so fast!

Taking advantage of the summer time and taking the week off to spend with my family. I’ll respond to any messages and inquiries when we get back.

Flowers are a sneak from my subscription orders last week. For the remainder of the summer, I will only be fulfilling my monthly subscription orders and event orders. I’ll post more about single orders when I work out some details.

Summer is whizzing by and I’m squeezing a few flowers in here and there. Loved this blue and peach from last week…I’m discovering this is a color combo I find myself going back to over and over.

Happy Easter!!!

Today is the celebration of a risen Savior! Jesus died on the cross and rose again 3 days later. This powerful act was done for you and me....so we can know love of Jesus here on earth and in heaven.

While the goal of this account is to show work of Sweet Petite and helps others bring joy through flowers, I hope you all can feel the joy of Jesus. I want to let y’all know I am here and would be honored to pray for you. We all need prayers. Please message me if you need someone sending prayers for you.

So many pretty flowers in this sweet floral but these tulips are the standout for me!!! Hope y’all are having a Monday as bright and beautiful as these tulips! We are enjoying lots of family time in the car....yesterday was not all tulips, but today we are doing our best.

I hope everyone is warm with full bellies and clean bodies, but I know that is not the case for most of my fellow Texans this week. We have 2 of the 3 right now...needing showers pronto. My family got power last night (we had been without since early Monday morning) as we were tucking all 4 kids in our bed. They were thrilled when we heard the beep of power (picture of them right after) and we celebrated with a movie and microwave popcorn. This is a something we do every week but was super appreciated last night. We still don’t have working water as we wait to have some broken pipes fixed, but we are warm for now and that’s so good!!!!

All my flowering from Valentine’s feels like ages ago, but I wanted to share since I didn’t get to while I was preparing all the Valentine florals. Here is one of the pretties that went off last week....loved this soft palette of peaches and pinks nestled in ruffly whites. I literally wrapped each vase with love in dupioni silk from my wedding (of course...unused
and still in my possession from my semi-hoarding tendencies).

Sweet Petite is closed until next week when we are back to our normal winter temps in the 70s. 🤪 Wishing each of you power and water very soon! Praising God for little things this week...spending time with friends (even when their power goes shortly after you get there but their house was still warmer than ours).

Wishing you the Merriest Christmas! I wanted to thank you for your continued support to .

Even our Christmas table was a blessing since I used the few flowers leftover from my orders this week. I pick the best looking flowers for my customers so these were the more imperfect ones I had left but still they created such a beautiful setting for us today.

This is just like the love of Christ...he can use our imperfect lives to do beautiful things for His glory. Thankful today we can celebrate the birth of our Savior. Praying you can live each day with joy!

- Comes with approximately 10 ft of twine to hang mistletoe wherever your heart desires :: we have ours hanging from walkway over our stairs (last pic is our mistletoe and it’s already several days old)

- Get several days of fun and add little extra bouquet if you have a girl elf or a mini mistletoe for your lil elf

I’m so excited to announce that Sweet Petite will now be offering Floral Workshops...these will be fun, small gatherings where I teach you how to make your own floral arrangement. Don’t worry we won’t go as fast as the video! 😊 You choose your group of friends and family, you choose the size of your arrangement, and I do the rest!!! We will be doing seasonal holiday florals through December. Such a fun way to celebrate the holidays with your girlfriends, family, work or church group...endless possibilities. Since I have been on a “break” from flowering, doubt started to creep into my thoughts. Why do I think I can do this? Why do I think people want to get flowers from me? Just ugly thoughts...and then I saw someone post to comment about something good about your day. And immediately I thought designing a few flowers yesterday morning was definitely some GOOD in my day. Knowing these blooms are going brighten someone’s day really makes me happy. So find the GOOD and reset your mindset if needed...and don’t let those ugly thoughts in! And getting dressed, putting on a little makeup, and fixing your hair (or putting on a headband in my case) doesn’t hurt every now and then either! 💁🏼‍♀️
