The Literary Lawn Party Proudly welcomes Manda Collins!

Manda Collins grew up on a combination of Nancy Drew books and Jane Austen novels, and her own brand of Historical romantic suspense is the result. She is the author of twenty-one novels set in 19th century England published by St. Martin's Press and Forever. A former academic librarian, she holds advanced degrees in English Lit and Librarianship and uses what she learned in grad school to craft her novels. Her books have been reviewed in Entertainment Weekly, Library Journal, Booklist, Publisher's Weekly, Bookpage, and USA Today. When she's not writing she can be found watching true crime documentaries, playing word games, and knitting very inexpertly. A native of Mobile, she lives on the Gulf Coast with a very stubborn cat and more books than are strictly necessary. You can find her online at mandacollins.com and on Instagram and threads at

The Literary Lawn Party is proud to welcome Caylan MacRae

Caylan MacRae is an unprofessional vampire hunter (keeps kissing instead of killing them), expert beach rat, and cryptid enthusiast who won’t shut up about Mothman. They're obsessed with writing the kind of queer-horror books that their younger, angrier self wished they could've had—stories that at their core are about family both found and lost, sibling strife, and the messy, often cyclical nature of recovery from traumas past.

He is the author of Southern Rain, a historical novel set in seventeenth-century China, and Meet Me at the RASCAL, an experimental Oulipo-generated satire, set in a near-future, dystopian, America, which caricatures every species of moral, social, and political decadence and is a lot of fun.

The Literary Lawn Party is proud to welcome Joe Cuhaj!

Joe Cuhaj is a Mobile, Alabama transplant having moved from his home state of New Jersey to the Port City 43 years ago with his wife who is from Mobile.

The former Mobile radio broadcaster is an avid hiker and backpacker and his hiking journeys continued when he moved to the state, discovering the incredible beauty of Alabama – it’s mountains, canyons, waterfalls, blackwater rivers, the delta, and the Gulf. This inspired him to author his first book, Hiking Alabama (published by Falcon Books) in 2000. The book is now in its 5th edition and was the first of 13 outdoor recreation guides Joe has written about the state and the Gulf Coast.

Joe has also authored five non-fiction history titles, 3 of which are Mobile-centric: Baseball in Mobile, Hidden History of Mobile, and A History Lover’s Guide to Mobile and the Alabama Gulf Coast (all published by Arcadia / History Press.) He is also the author of two successful spaceflight related titles, Space Oddities: Forgotten Stories of Mankind’s Exploration of Space and his latest Prometheus book, Everyone’s Gone to the Moon: July 1969, Life on Earth, and the Epic Voyage of Apollo 11.

You can read more about Joe’s writing adventures, his latest releases, listen to podcasts, and view videos on his website, http://joe-cuhaj.com.
