Playhouse in the Park, Mobile Alabama is located in beautiful Langan Park and is directly across from the Mobile Museum of Art. The theatre has been providing young people with performance and training opportunities since 1961. Midsummer Night’s Dream auditions, Monday and Wednesday night at the theater - 6:30-8:00 pm. A large cast between the ages of 13 and mid 20s is needed. There are also several roles for young girls between the ages of 9 and 12 years old. Our season is sponsored in part by the Alabama State Council on the Arts. 251-422-5434.

Please click below to watch Jason Guy interview Matt Loehr about starring in the tour of “Some Like it Hot.” Both of these young men played many roles at Playhouse, including Conrad in our Bye-Bye Birdie in the 90s. When Matt played the role he choreographed the show too!
