It was a pleasure to partake in a project behind the scenes for the Allentown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.. Reppin Your Decade Cabaret 2024.

Oh what an amazing time they had!! Each table was decorated with the era they were representing. I assisted with the 80s hip-hop decor by creating a boombox centerpiece with records as chargers. I only had 2 days to get this project done. I wanted to run wild with the idea, but decided to keep it simple.

Lon said it was awesome because it had the vintage look to it. It reminded you of the boom box that "Radio Raheem"carried around in "Do the Right Thing"! My last minute creativity won the "80's" table - Best decorated table prize out of 15 tables!! It was a major hit!! Mission accomplished!

Mom told me to take her and dad on a lunch date to Shady Maples...So I did...We had fun, and daddy's nose started to bleed when we were about to leave, but he continued to joke around. Love them. ❤️ Happy Wednesday! 💋
