It's almost holiday market time!! 🎄🎁 We have lots of returning vendors & a few new ones that will be set up here this week! Check out some of the new arrivals from Sweet as Honey Boutique & Down on the Farm Embroidery. They have the perfect options for gifts, stocking stuffers, OR apparel to treat yourself & wear to all the festivities next week.

Christmas is just around the corner!! Our holiday market will be open this Thursday 12/19 & Friday 12/20 to support your last-minute shopping needs. We are happy to feature a number of local vendors this week, including PLENTY of food & treats that will be all prepped & ready for Christmas gatherings.

Just 2 days left until Market - how could it be?!! We have a few lovely vendors left to highlight before we kick off the event on Thursday!

Lindsay from Lighthearted Candle Company pours her heart into every small-batch, soy-based candle she makes! She even designs her own watercolor art for each label. The new Christmas scents are so good that you might need one of each, but be sure to check out her everyday blends as well!

Becca from Wild Journey Craft Ventures is returning for her second year to the Makers Market! She creates what she likes to call “an array of elegant redneckery.” Her handcrafted, natural soaps, lip slicks, salves, lotions & more are some of our favorite daily use items!

Marion from Bloomfield Schoolhouse Lavender is a woman of many talents! She is currently renovating 2 buildings in LaGrange County, operating a lavender farm, and officially opening her apothecary later this month! Her handmade goodies include a variety of lavender-infused body & home products.

Happy Monday! Makers Market week is HERE 😍
Our Vendor Spotlight today is on some very talented artists!

Back again this year is Julie from Sentimental Sunshine. Julie makes beautiful stained glass art. You can find decor, jewelry, personal gifts & much more from her pieces. Fun fact, Julie's mom used to have a stained glass shop right in town in Mongo many years ago!

A NEW vendor this year is Janelle from RELIC Emporium. We just met Janelle this year but have admired her work for a while now! She makes unique pottery & you can also often find her working on mural projects in & around Steuben County. Janelle will have many different pieces at the market, from mugs to planters, kitchenware, storage & more!

We will also have some student art pieces for sale this week & decor from a few of our other vendors. Come shop & admire all the beautiful work of these artisans!

Happy Friday, makers & shoppers! Our first 2024 Market Vendor Highlight is here & it's for any of you looking for some all-natural, non-toxic beauty & home products that you're sure to love!

In case you didn't know, there were 2 of us who had this wild idea to launch a holiday market in Mongo last year & it was the Hippie Mama, Jessica Linder & Herbal Roots girly, Liz Kratz 🌿

We both wear many hats in our daily lives, but you can always find us talking about herbs & florals, essential oils, low-tox living, and whipping up things like skincare & bath products in our own kitchens! We may be just a little biased, but we think you'll love these products too.

Some Hippie Mama best-sellers to look for next week are: Healing salve (which we use religiously,) elderberry syrup kits, lip balm, and roller blends. A few Herbal Roots favorites are: Dry shampoo, body butter, bath salts, room sprays, and simmer pots!

We can't wait to see everyone next week! Market hours are:

Happy Labor Day Weekend, y’all! We can't believe it's almost September & we have just a little over ✨ 2 months ✨ until the 2024 Makers Market. We hope all our small, local businesses & hard-working entrepreneurs are taking a much needed break this holiday weekend! It's the last real busy weekend for our Summer adventure business Trading Post Outfitters, so we’ll start sharing more Market details after the holiday. Allow us to introduce ourselves! We’re just a couple of artisans with a love for small businesses, quality products & supporting LOCAL, which is how the Mongo Makers Market came to be. Every year in November, we turn a Summer seasonal retail space (thanks Trading Post) into a one-stop shop for local, handmade goods & thoughtful holiday gifts. The Market features a number of small businesses & entrepreneurs in our region with products ranging from jewelry, boutique apparel, natural bath, body & home goods, plants, art & MUCH more.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 14th through Saturday, November 16th, 2024 to come shop with us! Vendor highlights & additional details will be announced soon, so be sure to follow along! We can't wait to see everyone this Fall 😊
