We want to thank everyone that came to Pageant Practice today. We hope it helped. If you were unable to attend - the Auditorium stage is a rectangle. The contestant will enter from the left (if you are sitting in a seat facing the stage) and ages 8-21 will introduce themselves. Then walk toward the center. Walk to the front of the stage to an X in front of the judges. Turn and walk back to center , stop. Then walk to the right of the stage , stop , then exit the stage. It is a ‘T’ shape.

Hope to see everyone on Saturday to continue the 42 year tradition of Green River Catfish Festival Pageants and Miss Butler County Fair Pageants.

Park in the back large parking lot closest to the gym. Doors will be open beside the gym/school on the side!

Doors will open at 9 am and then be closed between our morning and afternoon pageants. We will reopen the doors at 3pm! Pageant starts at 4pm!

Saturday, June 22nd Registration begins at 3:00 PM Pageant at 4:00 PM (OPEN Pageant)

Little Miss and Mr (5-7 years) ($60.00) Contestants must have reached their 5th birthday by June 30, 2024, and shall not have reached their 8th birthday by June 30, 2024. Winner titles- Little Miss and Mr, 1st, and 2nd runner up.

Pre-Teen (8-12) ($45.00) Contestant must have reached her 8th birthday by June 30th, 2024, and shall not have reached her 13th birthday by October 31st, 2024.--Winner titles-Pre-teen Butler County, Pre-teen Green River Catfish, 1st, and 2nd Runner Up.

Teen (13-15) (immediately following the Pre-Teen pageant) ($45.00) Contestant must have reached her 13th birthday by October 31st, 2024, and shall not have reached her 16th birthday by October 31st, 2024.--Winner titles- Teen Butler County, Teen Green River Catfish, 1st, and 2nd Runner Up.

Mrs./Ms (22- ) ($50.00) Will be held during Miss Pageant. Contestant must have reached her 22nd birthday by October 31, 2024. Winner titles-Mrs./Ms Butler County

Miss (16-21) (immediately following the Teen pageant) ($50.00) Contestant must have reached her 16th birthday by October 31st, 2024, and shall not have reached her 22nd birthday by October 31st, 2024. --Winner titles- Miss Butler County, Miss Green River Catfish, 1st, 2nd Runner Up and Miss Congeniality

The alternate location is the BCHS Auditorium.
The building will be locked after the morning pageant until 3:00 when we will start Registration for the older contestants .

Now that school is over, our Miss Butler County Pageant winners are able to be more involved with our community. Today these three winners visited with the Residents at Morgantown Care & Rehab Center, and helped in some fun Bingo games. There were lots of smiles and hugs !💕

A few changes to be aware of in our 2024 Butler County Fair Pageants :

⚫️The Miss Contestants (ages 16-21) will have 2 outfit changes - swimsuit (one piece) and Formal Wear

⚫️We are adding the new category of
Mrs./Ms to our Pageant.
The contestant must be a natural born female, single, married, divorced, or widowed and can have children. The contestant must be 22 years of age on October 31,2024.
The Butler County Fair will send only 1 contestant in the Mrs./Ms category to the Kentucky County Fair Pageant in January 2025 - the contestant with the highest score will advance to State.
The contestants will wear Formal Wear and the Top Contestants will be answering an On-Stage question.

⚫️We are planning on the Pageant being held at the Early Childhood Training Center (former MCC building) located at 2882 Bowling Green Road in Morgantown .
