Oh, how I loved photographing these sweet family moments for Alec & Nicole. We had a beautiful day for these at Pricketts Fort. Both of these handsome boys were so much fun to photograph. These were a part of Lucas's 9 Month milestone session and we also took some for Noah's 2nd birthday!

Jude Michael Barrett ✨💙

We welcomed our second baby boy into the world this past Tuesday. When we heard his strong cry, and saw them raise our beautiful boy over the drapes, I put my fingers to his tiny hands through the plastic and we were overcome with so much joy and happy tears. It was truly a top moment in my life. While our Owen’s birth had a couple of those, they were mixed in with a lot more tough moments. We were able to avoid severe preeclampsia this time, avoid magnesium, allowed to have Jude with us right from delivery, and only had to stay TWO nights. One of our best friends was my labor and delivery nurse which I know helped every bit of this birth- from keeping me calm to just making the whole experience even more meaningful and fun. It was a world of difference, and having the first tough experience just made us so much more aware how nice this one was.

C-sections can still be beautiful ✨ I was originally sad I had to have a second one, but this one ended up so incredible, and sometimes it truly is the best and safest option. We thought it was all going to happen on July 5th but we did end up bringing him into the world right at 37 weeks. I thought I was going to have a chunky baby from my ultrasounds, but he’s still so tiny to me!

I photograph a lot of newborns, babies, and families so I like to share a few personal things like this with my clients. I get to share some of your most precious moments in life, so here’s one of mine ✨

Family Style Guide

Family photos are so sweet to me. I know how important these photos are going to be, not only now, but years down the road. I aim to capture the personality behind each member of your family. I love to get posed shots and candids as well at these sessions to get the most genuine photos. I know how fast kids grow and how parents get old too soon, so I take to heart every family I get the opportunity to photograph.

$350 + WV Sales Tax
You can expect at least 100 photos per hour. You receive all photos that are up to my standard.

I'm located in the Fairmont/Morgantown WV area.

I'm also up for making a couple trips to Summersville, WV until the end of May.

Our second baby is a… BOY!

I love to share these things with my clients since families and newborns are some of the main things I photograph currently. ❤️ I get to photograph some of your most precious moments so I like to let you in on some of mine.

I have two older brothers so being a boy mom feels natural to me. The way Owen already loves to launch things, I do see some broken windows in my future though. I just can’t wait to see these two grow up together and there is hardly anything I want more than for them to be a team for life.

I had to share a few of these Valentine’s Day pictures of our Owen. We surprised Ryan with a toddler helping tower so it would be easier for Owen to work with him in the kitchen. Owen is already so into helping him cook!

This sweet boy is already so loved by his family at just 3 months old. He is too cute for words and has already been rolling over! This is session #2 of his milestones sessions. I can't wait to go back for more pictures of this beautiful boy and his lovable brother!

It was good for my soul photographing these two and their new baby girl, Arlee. 🤍 Talk about a session that just felt like spending time with old friends! Myah and Josh, you two are already wonderful parents and Arlee could not be any more sweet! I can't thank you enough for allowing to capture these for you all. I loved every minute! 🤍

I just have to share a really short sneak peek for an upcoming family film I'm putting together for friends. These every day moments are my absolute favorite to document, and this one, of my friends’ kids playing on a swing at their new house, is one of my all time favorites I’ve captured. When I went to search through songs to use on my music licensing site, this song is the first one I tried out to see how it would go with the clips. I heard this part of the lyrics and they couldn’t have fit any more perfectly “I’ll be that old oak tree, whose branches will hold you while you swing” It was one of those moments, however small it may seem to others, where I felt like it was meant to be. I truly believe family films are going to be a big part of my business in the future. These beautiful every day moments really tug at my heart. The song is Old Oak by Roland Lewis and I can’t wait to get a few more clips to do all of the remaining lyrics justice in the film. MB01MCK5MJGCJCT Briana Kidwell

So I did something a little different last weekend.. I took the role of videographer for my cousin Kristen's wedding! Her videographer had to cancel a few weeks before the wedding, and so I volunteered to give it my best shot using my photography knowledge and a bit of studying. Soon, I'll be sharing a video connecting many of my favorite clips! But for now, here is one clip I especially like. I think it shows how happy her and Devin are together and how stunning they both looked on their wedding day! It also gives you just a tiny peek at their magnificent reception venue, the Butler Mansion! I absolutely loved getting to do this for them!
