We are a Mobile Educational Animal Experience that involves hands on learning with experienced staff! Our mission is to educate and connect people with the animal world. Interacting with animals is one of our greatest joys and we want to share that with you! We are two friends, and moms, that want to bring our love and knowledge of our farm animals to others. Melissa, born a city girl who fell in
love with the farm life, and Lindsay, a farm girl from day one, are passionate about teaching others about our variety of livestock and letting them interact in a safe, controlled environment. While we have named it a petting zoo, it is definitely more of an educational experience. Kids (and kids at heart) get to hold, brush, feed, walk and snuggle the animals while learning about that animal specifically and its importance to the environment and food chain. We feel it is very important for kids to learn and value animals the way we do. We also love the idea of brightening someone's day with cute little babies! Have you ever seen someone frowning while holding a bunny or baby chic?? Or could you imagine receiving a "Moo-Gram" for your birthday or Valentine's Day?!? We also include our ponies so folks can interact with horses on a smaller scale. Lindsay has a deep love for horses with an extensive background, including giving lessons and training. This will allow for a great first-time experience around a horse on a smaller scale. Or, reintroducing someone that might have had a bad experience at some point in their life. What makes us stand out in our area you ask? We are a completely mobile experience. There are petting zoos at the orchards and within an hour or two but nothing mobile that can go to schools, daycares, churches, birthday parties, etc. This is a key element to our business as we want to get out there and share what we know and love!
