A volunteer shared that one of our newest recipients was so very touched by this gesture of kindness. Becoming homebound and losing some of your independence, even if it's temporary, can be an emotional and overwhelming experience. Something as simple as a smile, a kind word, or a beautiful bouquet, reminds our recipients that they're never alone with Meals on Wheels!
