When I write my daily posts they’re not always about me or my journeys. Most times it’s things that God allowed me to witness, learn and grow from, or simply just put on my heart to write about. I don’t do drama or toxicity and when those rare situations do occur I certainly won’t publish that type of stuff about my personal life on a public platform. Those times are reserved strictly between me and God during prayer. As it should be.
Do I read y’all’s public rants or “discussions” on Facebook? Absolutely, with coffee or popcorn. Will I engage in them? Absolutely, but only over prayer with God for your situations. Do I think we need backstories or updates? Absolutely. We’re all invested at this point. I want to be able to thank God for His blessings for you or pray harder for His divine interventions for you.
Keep in mind before posting that family drama that this space is public and everyone will see and form their own opinions on each matter. Before posting anything, make sure you’ve prayed about it. Try to resolve those private matters and the hatred you have in your heart between you and God first. He will lighten your load, as He’s strong and powerful enough to carry that heavy cross and was publicly beaten and tortured for each of us to form our own opinions. We do, however, have His backstory, His updates, and His grace.
We can’t wait to serve you all here at Colorful Cafe and Latte today with open hearts.

Although you should always try to be as nice as possible to everyone, that in no way means to allow others to take advantage of your kindness. I strive to always try to be as professional and respectful towards others as I possibly know how. With that, some people have desperately tried to take advantage of me. I’ve allowed a few more than I should’ve. Trust me, I saw what you were doing whether I said anything about it or not.
With age, I’ve settled my crazy a bit. Some things just aren’t worth the energy it takes to stew on them, much less talk about. But sometimes, it’s necessary to vent, but only to the one trying to manipulate. I don’t go talking about situations to others. I will only come to you, but only after I’ve prayed about it and found the right- professional- words for you. That doesn’t always mean that’s exactly what will come out of my mouth for you though. I’m a flawed Christian because I’m human. Jesus says to pray about everything. Today, we pray for those trying to be manipulators and those being manipulated. Stand your ground. God did not weave you into a doormat. He wove you into the strong, loved person you are. We can’t wait to serve you all today at Colorful Cafe and Latte with open hearts and minds.

We're very excited to announce that after working with a local roaster, and asking some of y'all to taste test a bunch for us, that we've really nailed down something special with our own Colorful Cafe blend coffee. These beans are imported special, and we are able to work with a local roaster that allows us know to where our coffee has been, from bean to beverage. Come check it out and tell us what you think!

Downtown Munford Halloween Festivities

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Downtown Munford Annual Halloween Festivities! The activities include several of the businesses and churches in downtown Munford participating in a citywide trunk or treat.

The route will be starting at Restoration Church on E. Main St and traveling through Tipton St a left on Main St ending just past Colorful Latte in Cole’s Car Quest and Knot Just Flowers parking lot, just on the other side of Beaver Rd.

We are asking all the businesses in South Tipton County to come participate in the fun with us! This includes a few different options for those businesses outside the downtown area. Options 1 &2 are tax deductible!

Option 1: set up your trunks (and treats) in the parking lot of a couple different designated businesses to pass out candy to the kiddos. If you are a business located outside of Downtown Munford you will be assigned a space to park in.

Option 2: Donate candy (or money to purchase candy) to be passed out to the kiddos.

Option 3: Volunteer to help in all areas needed.

When: October 30th 2021
Time: 5pm- 9pm All activities will begin at 5pm sharp. This means all trunks need to be in place and decorated by 4:30 pm. The other businesses will be passing out candy from 5-8, Colorful Latte will be going from 5-9 with a costume contest for all present at 7, and Restoration Church events will be going from 6:30-8 (or until all candy is passed out).

Special note: We want to thank everyone involved in helping make this event such a success and special for all the kiddos! We especially want to thank the Munford Police Dept for helping keep everyone safe during these events! 🎃👻🕷️
