It’s been a while, but back to work restoring antique furniture!! This vanity is for a local woman. We will also be restoring the matching bed and dresser. This will go in the guest room of her new home. It’s a surprise for her husband when he returns from the military in November. I will be posting pictures of the progress.

Brian drove 2 hours to Sparta, TN to pick up more Jim Beam whiskey barrel lids! They have a very strong smell of whiskey. (That’s not a bad thing)! Once Brian sands off the char, the odor is removed. More pumpkin boards will be available this weekend. If you are interested in one, just message me!

I asked for a new coffee table and this is what Brian made for me! I love the rustic wood and the hairpin legs. Next up, some floating shelves for above the couch, made from the same wood.
New charcuterie | serving| cheese boards are coming! I mentioned to Brian that I wanted some for Fall/Halloween! This is what I came home to! The black walnut raven and coffin boards are still in the process of being oiled. The pumpkin is made from an old Jim Beam whiskey barrel lid. It has not been oiled yet. They will be ready for sale this weekend! The raven and coffin are 22 1-2” and 20 1/4” L. The pumpkin is 21” L.

Last week Brian picked up this cute wicker Patio set on Marketplace. It was worn and faded. I bought some khaki, black and terracotta spray paint and went to work! I love how they turned out. Love my new hibiscus plant too! It went from 2 blooms yesterday to about 10 today!

My future son in law and my husband built this last year when they were visiting us in TN. The wood came from the floor joists of an old farmhouse. I love how rustic it is!
I need a few of these! They are so cute! These would be great to have for Christmas time as well you could leave them up all year! I’ll have to add this to Brian’s “honey do list”!!

It's a beautiful day to be working outside. I'm stripping the black paint off of a drop leaf coffee table. Painted it once and didn't like the finish. Starting over with a different type of paint! I even got Brian to help! (6 weeks after open heart surgery❤)
