✨ Oliver Stephen Brown ✨

Someone surprised us by making an appearance 2.5 weeks early! He's a week old today 💛 (born 6.11.23) I think he just really wanted to be here to wish his dad Happy Father's Day in person 😍

We're loving the early, extra snuggles!

(If you're waiting on an email reply from me though - this is why I haven't responded! Little man caught us off guard 😅 I've got one wedding to finish editing, and I'll reply to important emails as I'm able. But I'm officially on maternity leave until August!)

✨ deleting Instagram ✨ ..but first I had to share these beautiful pictures from my sweet friend, Grace, photography.

I'm 31 weeks as of tomorrow. I've mentioned already that the remainder of 2023 will be a slower season for my business as we welcome Oliver to our family. But I don't want to wait until his arrival to make that transition of slowing down, being intentional, and spending more time focusing on my family.

As a Christian, Colossians 3 calls us to "..set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.." For me, I've let this app become a distraction from who I am called to be as a Christian, wife, mom, and friend. So for a season at least, I feel a need to separate myself from this app.

✨ What that means for my business ✨

• I am still currently accepting wedding inquiries for the winter and for the 2024 wedding season!
• I am still accepting inquiries for portrait sessions this fall for families and couples!
• I will still pop on Instagram from my desktop on occasion to make sure I am not missing any messages!!
• I will still occasionally redownload the app to feature the few sessions and weddings I have this summer as a service to my clients!
• But, since I'm uninstalling the app from my phone, any time sensitive requests should be made by emailing me at: [email protected]

✨✨ If you have a friend interested in a session, please continue sharing my info! Y'all's word of mouth references have been way better for my business over the years then this app has!! And words will never describe how thankful I am to you guys for all of your word of mouth shares!! ✨✨
