We had a Par-TEA ☕️💕🫖 to celebrate Lisa’s daughter Kylie’s 8th Birthday! We had an absolute blast! And I must add that we only had ONE hour to set up & I think we knocked it out of the park! 🙌

Today I had the pleasure of attending brunch with some of the top wedding professionals in the Myrtle Beach area. I am absolutely humbled and grateful to have even been considered to join such lovely, successful and supportive women in the industry.

I started my Wedding Planning journey at the end of 2017 after many years of frustration trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life. When I say I am living my dream career… I MEAN IT! I am so blessed and honored that my clients put their trust in me on the biggest day of their lives. I do not take that responsibility lightly. I will quite literally do anything & everything I possibly can to ensure their big day is everything they have dreamed of.

At the start of the new year, I set a goal to have 48 weddings booked this year. I am extremely proud to say that I have 46 weddings booked SO FAR this year AND I still have 10 more months before years end to get bookings! I still have plenty of fall dates that I know I WILL fill! This is nowhere near how many weddings my friends in the industry pull off every year… BUT just a few short years ago (right after I started my business, of course lol), I was in so much pain from my endometriosis that I could barely walk for over two years until a few life changing surgeries. I could only manage 10-15 weddings a year and believe me… it was HARD to work those 15 hour days. So my 46 weddings may not be close to what my friends pull off in a year, but I am SO dang thankful that I am able to be doing what I love full time!

Tomorrow starts 18 straight weeks 🤯 of weddings for Upstaged Events (One week in May, I have 5 weddings! Say some prayers for me, haha! 🙃)!!! I have worked hard to get here and I am absolutely not stopping now! Next year I will have 100 bookings!! Lisa Schultz… are you ready?! 😂

Basically what we do is point you in the direction of some fabulous vendors (if needed), talk with you throughout the entire process and then coordinate your wedding day. Day-Of Coordination includes timeline creation, decor set up, point of contact for vendors, coordination of ceremony & reception, maintenance during event, decor clean up AND use of rentals (signs, cake stand, flameless candles, votives, vases, faux greenery, crates, etc.)!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I get to “work” in the most beautiful settings with the most lovely couples celebrating the biggest day of their lives. It is an absolute honor and I am so, so thankful! 💗

I have to give a special shot out to my BFF and partner in crime! A couple of weeks ago I had a wedding and 3 days before it I asked this lovely lady to be on call… then the day before the wedding I asked her to work 12-4:30… The day comes and she stayed until 9:30 pm NO questions asked! I couldn’t have done it without her! I don’t know what I did right in life to have this absolute gem as a friend and business partner, but I am eternally grateful for you Lisa! 💗
