🌟Meet Jake🌟

Hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 21-year-old Jake Philon is excited to be in his fifth season with High Steppin' Country. A recent graduate of Coastal Carolina University (Class of 2024), Jake has also showcased his talents in numerous other performances, including Ghoul Vibrations at Lakewood Camping Resort, Cinderella, Cabaret, and How I Learned to Drive at Coastal Carolina University, as well as West Side Story, Newsies, and Anything Goes at Carolina Forest High School. Jake's favorite section of the show is Iconic Country and enjoys the opportunity to perform older hits. Outside of performing, Jake enjoys playing video games, piano, guitar, and tabletop role-playing games, as well as going to the beach and spending time with friends. He extends a heartfelt shoutout to all the people who have believed in him and supported his journey.

🌟Meet Sara🌟

Sara Martin, a 23-year-old from Conway, SC, is in her third year with High Steppin' Country. A graduate of CFHS (2019) and HGTC (2021), she has also performed in "Ghoul Vibrations" (2022-2023), and Theater of the Republic’s productions of Something Rotten, Kinky Boots, and Jersey Boys”, as well as in CFHS's "Newsies" as Katherine (2019). Her favorite section of HSC is the 80s due to its electrifying energy and the irresistible urge to dance. Outside of performing, Sara works as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Professional Rehabilitation Services and enjoys relaxing with her pups. Sara is thankful to the production team of HSC for making everything possible and giving her this opportunity.

🌟Meet Alberto🌟

Alberto Gomez, a 24-year-old from Myrtle Beach, is in his third season with High Steppin' Country. A 2018 graduate of Carolina Forest High School, he has performed in the CFHS Showcase (2015-2018), at Six Flags Over Texas (Summer 2022), Six Flags Fiesta Texas (Fall 2022-Winter 2023), and Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Winter 2023). His favorite section of HSC is the 80s, he just loves the music! Outside of performing, Alberto makes music under the artist name AG3. Alberto would like to thank his mom, dad, and sisters for being the best support group anyone could ask for.

🌟Meet Grace🌟

Grace Mauldin is a rising junior studying Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory. With five years of professional experience on the "High Steppin’ Country" stage, Grace has had a passion for musical theater since childhood. She has performed in various musicals throughout her academic career, including notable roles as Demeter in "CATS" and Janet Van De Graaf in "The Drowsy Chaperone" at Socastee High School. Recently, she played the role of Martha in "Spring Awakening" and understudied the role of Joanne in "Rent" at Shenandoah Conservatory. When she’s not performing, Grace enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as going to the beach. She is grateful for the constant support and encouragement from her loved ones.

🌟Meet Preston🌟

Originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Preston Carter is a 23-year-old performer with 5 seasons of experience in High Steppin' Country. An alumnus of Socastee High School (2018), he has showcased his talents in various roles, including the Beast in Beauty and the Beast and Rum Tum Tugger in Cats the Musical. Recently, he starred as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys the Musical and has performed outside South Carolina at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Preston’s favorite section of HSC is the 80s, especially the exciting new set being revealed this year. Outside of performing, he loves cooking and spending time with his dogs. He extends a special thank you to the entire production team for their hard work and dedication in making this show incredible.

🌟Meet Sydney🌟

From Myrtle Beach, SC, 20-year-old Sydney Gifford is in her second year with High Steppin' Country. A junior at Coastal Carolina University, Sydney has also performed in “Ghoul Vibrations” (2023), "Songs in the Key of Life" (2024), and "Reelin’ in the Years" (2023) at Coastal Carolina. Her favorite section of the show is Iconic, where she can focus less on choreography and more on connecting with her castmates on stage. Outside of performing, Sydney enjoys songwriting, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her family. She’d like to thank her amazing mom for her undying support and her boyfriend for cheering her on through the tough rehearsal process.

🌟Meet Manny🌟

Hailing from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 17-year-old Manny Platis is making his “High Steppin' Country” debut this season. A junior at North Myrtle Beach High School, Manny has already showcased his talents in various productions, including portraying Gaston in Beauty & The Beast at North Myrtle Beach High School, Marius in Les Misérables with Myrtle Beach ACT, and Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys at Theater Of the Republic. Manny's favorite section of HSC is the 80s, thanks to its classic rock & roll vibes. Outside of performing, Manny enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, fishing, or going on trips. Manny would like to thank his parents, Eleni & Michael, for their amazing support, and to the cast and crew of HSC for being such a welcoming family.
