DJ Preston Lee

He's an award winning rapper, radio host and mobile DJ from Nashville with a degree in communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He completed his first radio internship for a group of stations in Idaho. As an intern he connected with the right people and found a niche for himself as a parody news/entertainment rapper. The country station picked up five of his songs and played them during

the morning show throughout his time as an intern. His passion for radio landed him another internship in a larger market at KSL in Salt Lake City. The Nightside Project played his song “Mitt Romney” giving him a chance to be heard on a much larger scale. Preston took a job as the weekend DJ on Z103, East Idaho's largest top 40 station and worked his way onto middays. He progressed as far as he could in the company and took a full time position as the afternoon personality for Star 98, a Hot AC station in the same town. After being promoted to the program director position and becoming a household name in East Idaho, he set his sights on a larger market...Boise. Impact Radio Group (now Iliad Media) learned about his talents and hired him as their midday radio host on Wild 101 and later promoted him to be their digital director in addition to his regular on-air shift. His voice and graphic design work has been heard and seen by tens of thousands of people throughout the Treasure Valley on the radio and on billboards. He continues to reinvent himself and is launching into a new phase of his career as a mobile DJ entertaining at weddings, corporate events and private parties all over the Northwest.
