As a Mana Wahine of Kanaka Maoli descent, activism is in my DNA. It was cultivated at Kamehameha where we learned about the history of our people & culture and in my everyday life growing up in Nānākuli. In my 47 years I can NEVER remember a time not constantly being proud of being Hawaiian. And it's with that, we celebrate and kāko‘o with all cultures and ethnicities around the globe.

And today, it's BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2025! Be loud and be proud! ✊🏼🔺✨🤙🏽🌺
