Planned a wedding for almost a year. Planned a schedule C section the week after, so I would make sure I got my couple down the aisle to I do. Went to a regular check-up last ultrasound on 10/14 the morning of wedding rehearsal and never was released from the hospital until I gave birth at 4 am 10/15/ 21
The wedding went amazing, and put a team in place to handle every detail.

Planned a surprise engagement for a sweet couple, not local to Nashville, to surprise his now wife at the Rennasiance hotel. On my way in route, all of my vendors were there& ready. Received a phone call that my FIL passed suddenly!
Engagement went on as planned.

Huge Wedding 400+ guest count. Firemarshall, Ambulance, you name it. I had to evacuate everyone in the building due to an unknown chemical released in the building. People were literally sick. Delayed the wedding. But God, my couple still made it to the altar.

Storm came that day in Nashville, knocking out power trees you name it & 245 people in the surrounding area... 30 minutes before call time. The transformer caught on fire, and the WTO team went on foot hunting down NES in the neighborhood 🤣 (electric company). The wedding was only delayed for 33 minutes.

I say all this to say. When you are booking WTO or any company, check to see how your planner/ coordinator handles pressure. The BTS planning a wedding and the actual day are not for the weak. I want to be recognized for these things, not just how beautiful a room looked! I've experienced both life & death within my business, and with strategic planning, a solid team & and GOD, all of my events have gone on even when I have not been physically present.

Today, while I was out... I was stopped by one of my old clients. I was super happy to see him and to catch up on how he & his family were doing. Still one OF THE BEST turn up weddings for WTO to date😂🙌🏽.

As a planner in this industry, no one talks much about how disposable you become after planning with couples for months, sometimes years after I do.

The takeaway from that conversation was that I'm on the right path and purpose for WTO. I truly believe in
LOVE, CELEBRATION & FAMILY.
