Someone is celebrating their first half birthday today. 😭 6 months is so much fun! Malcolm’s new skills are crawling and pulling up on anything he can. Last night, I noticed his two bottom teeth cut through his gums. 😱 We are just having the best time right now. 🥰

4 months for Malcolm. Feet have been found and sleep could be better! He is currently on his first trip. We decided to go big and travel to Panama City, Panama. The biggest change I’ve noticed this month is his accuracy in grasping objects, including some fists full of hair.

3 months with MJ 😍 I feel like we went from a potato to a smiley potato this month. Malcolm is such a happy boy (when his basic needs are met). His current interests include chewing his hands or anything in his hands, watching mama eat, and standing up with assistance.

For the last several years I have been second shooting for the best- . It’s about time I start sharing some of my work.

Lily and Matthew’s wedding is one for the memories. We hiked in freezing temps made worse by the wind and not one person complained. It was so fun to capture this wedding and celebrate with the couple and their closest friends and family.

I’m just crazy about this boy! 😭 At 2 months, his favorite drink is still milk, preferably from the source. He has been super smiley the last few weeks and has been getting vocal. I love all his little sounds. He still won’t take a pacifier and finds bath time relaxing. I love doing life with you, MJ. ❤️

MJ is up to 10lbs.
He won’t tolerate a paci for more than 30 seconds.
Milk solves all of his problems.
Car rides make him sleepy.

I’m obsessed with him. I’d say the feeling is mutual. 🥰

I would be amiss to start posting about this wedding with any other photo — because this was the epitome of this day. Maggie & Jeremy were caught up in living each moment & dancing out their joy, surrounded by their people. It was magic, full of love, and sometimes involved full-on sprinting. Congrats to the Silers!

📢Life Updates! 2023 has been a year of change. So much change that I have not been able to focus or give much attention to my photography and videography business. All of these changes have been for the better, but even the good can cause stress in life.

1. I knew I wanted to take a break from teaching, and didn’t expect to receive a job offer before the end of the school year. I left my teaching job for a corporate position in April.

2. A few weeks into my new job, I discovered I was pregnant.

3. My partner and I eloped! 🍾

I have some announcements! I have a new business and website dedicated to creative services (mostly photography and videography). This year I want to focus on building my wedding video portfolio. I have settled on my introductory rates and I am offering a discount to my first few clients.

I LOVE California. My dad’s side of the family is from the Golden State. I’ve been traveling to CA at least once a year since I was a lil baby. My favorite places are Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. However, I’ve found myself spending more time in LA recently. 🐻

When I was a kid, I made big purchases two times a year. Once in July, after I saved up all of my birthday money and again, as I’m sure you can guess, after Christmas. 🎄🤑 When I was 11, I cashed in $175 at the local skate-shop for my first build (Girl deck, Independent trucks, Spitfire wheels, etc.). I skated throughout middle school and only slowed down in high school because competitive swimming took precedence. After all these years, I still love watching the skaters shred. 🛹
