So, today is a big day for me. It's always a good thing to work hard and get to see a big accomplishment come to life. In these moments I think of my grandma who taught me to cook and my momma who always encouraged me. Today, I needed to hear from my momma, and I did. I was going through some boxes in my closet, and I found this card. There is something to be said for keeping things. This card is from when I left home for college in 1991. My mom's been gone since 2012. I haven't looked in that box since I don't know when. But, today, she is with me.
