Just the tip Tuesday:

Have a photographer!! I cannot stress how important this is. It doesn’t matter how big or small your ceremony is going to be, how many people are going attend, you’re going to want to look back at this day forever. It’s a huge milestone in a relationship!! Spend the money!! 

And don’t be afraid to call multiple photographers or any vendor at all!! Search around, find who fits you best!!

Someone recently asked me if common-law marriage was a thing in CT, It is not recognized in CT HOWEVER, if you move from a state that does recognize it then CT will also regonize your Common-Law.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), 10 states (Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Utah) and the District of Columbia recognize common-law marriages, although some impose certain restrictions. An additional five states (Georgia, Idaho, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania) allow only those established before a certain date to be recognized.

Personalized love stories are my favorite type of ceremonies to perform. The ceremony is dedicated to the two people getting married and the amount of information that they put in their love letters to each other, is how I make the ceremony.
