Hi👋 Allow me to introduce myself.✨

Most of you know me but for the ones that don’t….My name is Chrissy and I am the face behind Belles & Whistles Co.
I am a one-person team 95% of the time. If you see my post, and if I ever say ‘we’, I am normally talking about myself and my other personalities. My boyfriend and mom are my unofficial official elite employees when I have a big install along with other family and friends.

I’m MIA a lot on my social media page, which I’m really trying to work on. I’m a full time record keeper here in Fort Bend. I also work for my best friend who has her online boutique and her catering business. I have a beautiful home with my boyfriend and a fluffy 4 legged child that people like to tell me is a dog. I have a big family that I actually adore and love to be around. Needless to say, I keep busy.

People often ask how I got started. Well I have a creative mother who would rather do it herself than pay someone else and that seemed to rub off me along with my sister in law convincing me that I can make a 40ft balloon garland for my niece and nephews birthday for the first time. We stayed up all night decorating outside and blowing up balloons. We watched the sun come up and took a quick nap before the party started at 3. Around noon we took the balloon outside to hang, the balloons started popping left and right as we’re trying to hang around this beam. By 2 o’clock ALL the balloons popped! I cried! I didn’t even want to attend the party 😂 I was so upset, I spent hours YouTubing different videos on how to make a balloon garland with zero sleep just to have them pop and not one person see them at least! After a difficult trial and error I figured out the difference in quality balloons and Amazon/ hobby lobby were not it! It slowly started with just family and friends asking who did the balloon garland to becoming Belles & Whistles Co. today!

I take pride in details, growing up my dad always said everything in life is a pattern. From vacuuming a certain way, even eating ice cream, to mowing and now to blowing up balloons, setting up teepees or picnic tables. The details behind the name mixed with southern charm we get Belles & Whistles Co.
