It has been such a blessing to share our family farm with you over the last 3 years. We’ve been a part of some spectacular moments in your lives. From weddings to family reunions, engagement photos and festivals of art, we have loved being a place for people to gather. However, in this season we share the bittersweet news that we are no longer accepting bookings. For this next part of Glenthorne’s history, it will just be for our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and support!

This 186-acre estate located off Route 151 in Nellysford features a renovated manor house, stunning mountain views, and a secret waterfall on the property. The estate hosts weddings and private events, and photoshoots throughout the year.

These beautiful hops are full and ripe for the picking. Which means it's time for Glenthorne's annual Pick Your Own Hops event! Our ninth-generation cascades and chinooks are ready for you to take home. Not a hop expert? That's fine, we'll help you pick the right bine and show you how to harvest the cones. Caught this sweet flower girl picking up her petals while the bride and groom were taking some photos 💕 We had such a lovely time celebrating Alyssa and Tanner and their wonderful family on Friday and are so honored they chose us to make their dream come true. It is such a gift to be a part of people’s special days, and moments like this never get old!

Closing out this at means watching the deer in and it's impossible not to feel connected to our little slice of this earth. It's our whole day every day. Slowly we are bringing back the glory and grandeur of this mountainside. Whether it is moving bushes to give them space to grow, or mulching paths through the forest, planting to prevent erosion or building bridges to protect the flow of the stream, we are daily working with this land. And there isn't anywhere on earth we'd rather be.

A very Merry Christmas from our family to yours. The beauty of Christmas time at Glenthorne is that for generations it has been the same. Family huddled in one room bursting with the sound of laughter and the crinkling of paper, the sweet smell of grandma’s cookies and the fresh pine of the tree. And what a blessing that today was just the same.

Whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, we hope it is filled with joy and laughter and those you love. Because those are the things that really matter! Sending you love from our home to yours 💕
