Our Learning & Development department provided internal development training over the past few months. They offered project-based mentorships in three categories: Salesforce Development, Full-Stack Development, and Solutions Design.

The training was led by our Software Development team and it was a huge success! We held a graduation ceremony to celebrate our trainees' accomplishments and awarded prizes to trainees who did an exceptional job!

Although we are currently offering training opportunities only for MMCY staff, we hope to expand and offer opportunities for the general public so keep an eye out for that! Congratulations and a big thank you to everyone who participated!

Our Cvent department here at MMCY had a field day at Entoto National Park last Friday. The day was filled with games and fun activities, from ziplining to archery and hiking. This is just one of the ways we wanted to appreciate all the hard work they are putting in.

"It's nice to put a smile on people's faces once we complete an event build - it's very rewarding."

Account Managers fit within the larger Cvent department at MMCY. They take client requests, share best practices, and then build the event registration websites themselves or pass the request on to the developers. Since account managers are client-facing, excellent communication is a must.

Although Account Managers work independently most of the time, it's common to share the workload within the team. There are many teachable moments and team members are always learning from one another.

The Quality Assurance team is part of the Cvent Department. Cvent is an online event management software that simplifies the process of planning and executing events. The QA team's main task is to ensure that the builds made by the developers are running smoothly.

The QA team does a lot to keep morale high. From their end-of-the-month dinners to "winning high fives" where the person with the most builds and logged hours wins a high five from their team lead, the QA team knows how to keep everyone motivated!

The main responsibility of the Sales Development Representative Team is contacting prospects and getting them interested in the services MMCY offers.

It's a high-pressure environment but the team helps each other out and is always ready to celebrate wins. When they say they are a family, the SDR team means it.

The Business Development department is responsible for finding business leads for MMCY. There are many subdivisions within the department, including lead generation (which find potential clients), SDRs (who reach out to clients by making outbound calls), and Sales Closers (who close deals).

Everyone motivates each other to do their best, and hard work is rewarded. But, self-motivation goes a long way in the Business Development team too. The team is close-knit, and tasks are delegated according to strengths.
