As founder of Louisiana Dubstep in 2008, she carried a torch that led hesitant promoters, club owners and fans to a landscape that previously did not exist. Under her wings of change, she championed many firsts in the state: recorded the first widely recognized dubstep mix, booked the first dubstep headliners, organized the first regular dubstep party (Swamp Wamp), and promoted the genre on two internationally recognized radio shows. Although she is new to the scene, that hasn't stopped her from taking big strides to assert herself as an up-and-coming bass music DJ and event producer. Baby Kush takes her audience on a journey by combining filthy psychedelic bass drops with rapturous drum and bass melodies to create an exciting and mesmerizing live performance. When she's not behind the decks, Baby Kush is hard at work behind the scenes. One of the things that keeps her busy is working on her event series "Bass n Babes," with the goals of creating an inclusive q***r community within the EDM scene and helping grow the q***r community within bass music.
