Joe began promoting PKA Karate/Kickboxing in 1981 when he was producing multiple events for ESPN known as PKA Karate, the kick of the 80’s, he boxed professionally throughout his career as well as kickboxed till the age of 42yrs old and opened the original MMA reality based gym in Louisiana 1981 in what is now called Fat City an area just outside of New Orleans where his gym remained until 2013 when he sold the building and began his workforce camp for workers on the Mississippi river. After his short retirement from the game Joe was asked to promote MMA once again and so on April 21st, 2017 and after the 9 successful events and a name change for the expansion and growth into other major cities in Louisiana with his new partner & matchmaker, Tim Credeur, he continues to advance his passion and love for the Martial Arts and they together will provide a platform for all it’s brave young warriors in Louisiana to exhibit their skills!
