Y'all, l'm so excited to finally share these photos from Jy's golden-themed shoot! did this shoot last month, but of course, I had to wait until after her birthday to post! 🤗

Here's what we used to create this look:
• 2 white boards from Home Depot

• Gorilla spray adhesive to stick the foil blankets to the boards

• Clear tape to hold the boards together

• Mylar emergency thermal blankets (from Amazon) for the backdrop and floor

• A light/flash setup to cast cool shadows on one side for that dynamic, textured look

We started by taping the white boards together, then we sprayed the gorilla adhesive on the board! We crinkled the Mylar blankets by hand for that perfect textured backdrop, then used the same blankets on the floor, leaving them smooth to contrast with the backdrop. It gave the whole setup such a rich, golden vibe.

Jy actually did her maternity session with me years ago and she's been rocking with me ever since!
She's always such a joy to work with!

Jy SLAYED this shoot! Her hair, her makeup, her whole energy-just flawless. The golden tones paired with the outfit, hair, and makeup really made everything pop

Javonni’s First Birthday Photos 🤍🖤

This was a last minute birthday photoshoot booked by Jovonni’s God mother as a gift to her mom! 🥹 I love, love, love when people book photography sessions as a gift because it’s such a timeless gift, you’ll receive an unforgettable photo session and timeless images! 🥰

Since we didn’t have time to order props we asked the client to send both of the babies outfits and we would come up with a nice coordinated set. Once I seen the white dress I went to the same day as the session to get a grey satin fabric and clear diamonds. We also brought the column prop for photos with her sister so that she would have something to sit on that complimented the set. ✨

Javonni did great for her very first photoshoot! The diamonds were distracting enough for her to get some nice candid shots. We love it when the babies can’t walk just yet because it’s actually easier to get stable shots lol!

We love the way that these images came out, they’re so gorgeous! This session was done in one hour! We did the starter mini session at $275 and added on time($50 for 30 minutes) to document both outfits. We do need time to take down the set and put up another one which could take 10-15 minutes so extra time will be needed when doing a custom session. ✨

Taylor & Renaldo’s Engagement Photo Shoot 💍

When Taylor and Renaldo contacted us for their engagement shoot, we were happy to help them capture their love story in the most beautiful locations New Orleans has to offer. We started at City Park to complement their Princess and the Frog theme, and the enchanting scenery provided the perfect backdrop. 🌳

Next, we headed to A.L. Davis Park to capture some photos among the trees and in front of the surrounding graffiti. Their outfits blended seamlessly with the vibrant surroundings, and the attention to detail in their coordination was absolutely stunning! ✨

To add a personal touch, we concluded the shoot at First African Baptist Church, right next to where Renaldo grew up. This special location added depth and meaning to their photos, highlighting their journey together. ❤️

Taylor and Renaldo were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their chemistry shined through every shot, making our job so enjoyable.

🤎Rashawn Maternity Session 🤎

We love the way RaShawn‘s maternity pictures came out, the minimalist style is super cute! We only used pampas grass, a vase, and a canvas paint backdrop.The canvas backdrop adds texture to the images and the size of it is perfect! ✨

We really enjoyed the session because RaShawn is very easy to work with, a true pleasure! Thank you again for allowing us to document your first maternity photo shoot and we are wishing you the best journey in motherhood ! ✨

You’ve BEEN killing it and all I can seem to think about is how you were always in the top of the class! You were the VALEDICTORIAN in high school (2015) and to follow you have not only one but FOUR masters degrees!! You’ve done so much to make yourself and your family proud and you deserve all the praise!!

Ashley & Zoi Mommy & Me Session 🤍✨

We have been working with these two since 2019 and every session has been uniquely beautiful! 🥰

For Zoi’s 8th birthday she decided that she wanted to do a mommy and me sessions instead of her usual solo portrait birthday session. Of course we were down and decided to do something we haven’t already done! We went with “The Gallery on Magazine” which is an indoor/outdoor venue that makes a great backdrop for your photos. I love the modern take on the vintage aesthetic! This venue has a $100 per 30 minute fee! ✨

This year Zoi was so excited for her photos and really brought the energy! I absolutely love seeing her growth infront of the camera, my little unpaid model lol!! 😆

Their matching mommy & me dresses were soooo gorgeous, even more gorgeous in person! Shoutout to for making these gorgeous gowns!! I love their updo hairstyles by as well, they are so gorgeous! 🥰

I absolutely LOVE the way my sisters foil photoshoot came out! I’m so proud of her growth in front of the camera and confidence over all! 🥰

We decided to do a blue and metallic color pallet for these, which compliments her brand colors! I styled her in a PrettyLittleThing two piece blue metallic set with clear raindrop embellishments! Of course to match I paired it with a metallic IT GIRL purse from REVOLVE and gorgeous metallic pumps from Jessica Simpson Style! The jewelry was also in the shape of a pear to match the embellishments! 💎

Deciding on hair was the hardest part because there are soooo many styles that can compliment this look! 😭 We decided to go with past the knee length box braids which were beautifully done by .stylez ! Of course we went with for makeup because she don’t ever miss for a celebrity glam!!💙

My favorite thing about this shoot is the versatility in her poses! I really enjoy challenging myself and clients to create an album full of variety! You can stand, sit, squat, hold props, and switch up hair and attire to give your photos versatility and this album proves it!

Thanks again for being a great muse for my expression! EVERYTHING turned out better than I imagined! 🫶🏽

❤️🔥Jazmyne’s Foil Photoshoot 🔥❤️

Jazmyne wanted to a solo portrait session that showcases her outside of being a mom, partner , and worker. I sent her three different theme ideas and she decided on the foil Photoshoot. 🥰

Once we picked the type of session I styled her in a two piece set metallic pant set paired with knee high red leather boots! 😮‍💨

I thought the perfect hairstyle to do on her would be two space buns but with spikes in some photos. I LOVE how her hair came out and truly happy to showcase all of my talents through this session. 🫶🏽

🖤❤️Xade’s Mickey Mouse 1st Birthday Photoshoot ❤️🖤

We decided to do a outdoor Mickey Mouse themed photo session for our client since his party theme is Mickey Mouse! This is our very first time doing this theme in the original colors, we usually would do Mickey Safari since our sessions are outdoors 99% of the time.

I looked online for an outfit that I didn’t see many kids wearing for their Mickey Mouse Photoshoot and found this cute Mickey Mouse overall with a matching hat on Amazon, too cute!! 😍

🔻Props Used For This Session 🔻

* Custom ONE Mickey Mouse Letters
* Red Bin
* ONE Mickey banner
* Mickey Confetti

The props were all from Amazon and the seat was thrifted and spray painted red for this session.

We had fun although the weather was crazy!! It’s not that often that we bring our backdrop stand outside but the day we choose to it was so windy!! Even with the wind having props flying all over the place the images came out so good! This is the epitome of a session with images that don’t look anything like the actual experience.

Xade was so active during the session it was hilarious watching him move around so quickly while trying to get some staged and candid shots. We love the overall turnout of these images!! 🥰❤️

🍃💙Cohen’s 3rd Birthday💙🍃

We have been documenting Cohen since he was only a few months old! I remember him in his little suit at the Roosevelt hotel in 2020! We’ve now done over three sessions with them since then! 🥰

Cohen is a little man, intelligent, curious, and so so cute!! This year we went with a Easter theme due to his birthday being on Easter this year! Holli(his mom) and I had a few themes and outfits to work with but the all blue featuring their pet bunny won this year!🐇🤍

As y’all know we scoot locations and props specifically for our clients so we used this blue background in a parking lot, a blue basket from Michaels Stores and blue eggs from T.J.Maxx to pull it all together! ✨
