In 2011, my best friends asked me to officiate their wedding and that began my journey into this ritual, which is fully customized with every detail curated for each couple. I love the ritual of weddings. I am an empath and healer. I’m also a professional writer and editor with over 20 years in the publishing industry. he utmost importance to me. My belief is that the ceremony is a sacred moment — it’s the moment a couple enters into marriage. It must be all about the couple and a celebration of all that brought us to the wedding day. It must allow you to feel grounded and present, and fully connected — to be able to breathe in and feel your emotions and love deeply. And all of your guests must feel enveloped in the energy of love as well. To capture your love story in a ceremony, to celebrate all that makes you unique as a couple, is an honor and one I cherish. I love to incorporate customs and traditions that are meaningful to you, and have included beloved rituals like handfasting, blessing circles, and candle lighting. I’ve deepened these rituals by creating moments I’ve never seen in a wedding before — personalized crystal and botanical grids, hand washing in magical botanicals and herbs, and my Heart Chakra Reiki at the altar space. Every element chosen is through intuition and love, Reiki charged, fully customized, and become gifts to you. These items possess the energy of the moment, your energy, the energy of the words spoken at your ceremony, and they are sweet keepsakes. I come to you with over 20 years in the publishing industry as a writer and editor, with the depth of being a Reiki Master healer since 2016, and the knowledge and professionalism of being a wedding officiant since 2011. As your officiant, I love to make your wedding uniquely your own, unforgettable, magical, and with a beautiful calm and joyful energy.

Love is what prevails through challenges and I feel eternally grateful I have so much love not just from Matt, but our children, our family + friends, and every single person who helped with our celebration and my incredible clients who inspire me in love daily. Being rooted in love is what helps us through, and I will always dig my feet into the earth deeper to uphold love, equality, justice, and inclusivity.

About Michele

I am a non-denominational Ordained Minister and a Reiki Master trained in Usui Reiki. I’m also a writer with over 20 years in the publishing industry. In 2011, my best friends asked me to officiate their wedding and that began my journey into this incredible ritual. More friends asked. Friends of friends asked. And then word spread and I met with couples who became new friends. I love the ritual of weddings. I am a very spiritual person, empath, and healer. Because of my career as a writer, journalist, and editor, and my path as Reiki practitioner and healer and herbalist (as well as being a total romantic), telling your love story and finding the right words and rituals for your ceremonial is part of my life’s work.

I create custom ceremonies for each couple, which means no two ceremonies are the same because no two couples are the same. This moment is sacred - it’s when two people should be present and connected as they bask in their love. To honor that, I write thoughtful and meaningful rituals with the help of our correspondence.

I’ll work with your guests, other vendors involved, and the venue to make sure the entire ceremony runs smoothly and so you do not have to worry about any of those things. I want your focus to be on each other and be in the moment. And I love elopements and micro weddings!

I love to incorporate customs and traditions that are meaningful to you, and have included beloved rituals like handfasting, blessing circles, crystal grids, crystal blessings, hand washing in magical botanicals and herbs, and Reiki healing. I can make your handfasting cording, sage and botanical bundles for smudging, and so much more. I love celebrating love and creating unique and personalized experiences.
