We have partnered with a small batch roaster in Houston’s East End, Keith Adkins, from Cruiser Coffee Roasters to create a medium-roast blend featuring Central American, South American and East African coffee beans.

It boasts notes of chocolate with a slight fruit aftertaste.

We named the coffee Bodacious Brew after our first bull, Bodacious, on the farm who was bold, potent and prolific.

StarHill Farms is known for its wide open spaces and an attitude that asks you to open your heart and soul to all the good things in life.

“The ranch house has a gorgeous view of the farm by day, a great deck for dinner al fresco, and a world class sky to enjoy Mars and the full moon along side the firepit. Rocking chairs ruled the weekend. The grounds were well manicured and easy to walk. Experienced birders will enjoy and be challenged, the rest of us had our binoculars at the ready.

We had dinner in Round Top one evening and learned that a nearby meat market in Industry is also a great choice, which we will enjoy on our next visit.

As promised, the house was well appointed with all we needed, including a cheese grater! Everything was spotless and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and none of us felt crowded all weekend long.”
