Here at the Magnolia Acres, it all started with 25+ years as an interior designer (Eve Home Design) working on fun projects with great clients in Seattle/LA/NY/Nashville (even a few states in between)…
Though settling in last few years down here at my in rising star Columbia TN, I’m still doing projects “when & if” the design nudge & inspiration blows my way - and one local couple were just the perfect “when & if”!! They moved here from Playa Mexico, via San Fran & Brooklyn and this is what happened. 🧚

So fun, so thrilled for them their happy new Columbia abode! Thanks for your trust Elka & Javier! 💖🏡

Sitting here thinking...

Love comes in so many forms (speaking the obvious here) and for me, here and now, I'm looking at a Valentine full of love for so many people who contibuted to the making of this house, this "Magnolia Acres". Whether it be due to the actual roll-up-the sleeves hard physical work of the many contractors or the plethora of design jobs and the private funds to make it what it is today...the ever present emotional support of "deep breath, you got this Eve!". To now, the Guests who trust and book their stays and events here now...all these collective moments shared.

Most of all, the ever present Universe of Angels above (Mom! I know you had your hand in this 🦋). In a grateful mood and sending the love right back out this very special day. Happy 💝 Day to all of you!! Xoxo's

Family love. This sweet mother. 💝 I watched her wade into...still clothed, into our chilly October pool water because her little daughter wanted to swim! Maybe it just looked too inviting not to? Naaa. She's just the sweetest soul you could ever meet & loves her family. Positive, kind, loving...and game.

Mehndi, otherwise known as henna, is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.
