**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Event and Floral Design Assistant to help with preparing for events, working during the events, and handling post-event cleanup and packing. The ideal candidate is ready to learn, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and setup of events
- Work during event days, providing support as needed
- Assist with floral arrangements and designs
- Handle post-event cleanup and packing of items
- Ensure all materials and equipment are transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

**Requirements:**
- Easy access to transportation; driving is a plus
- Previous floral experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, late nights, and evenings
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items

My Anchor!

I had the privilege to share on a panel for women’s history month. When asked what keeps me going, my response was – my faith in God.

As Nehemiah 8:10 beautifully states, ‘The joy of the Lord is my strength,’ I find profound meaning in this truth, especially in challenging times. Here’s why faith is not just a belief but an anchor in my life:

• Steadfastness in Trials: Amid life’s storms and uncertainties, faith serves as my unwavering anchor, providing stability and reassurance. When everything seems to be shifting, my faith in God remains constant, guiding me through the darkest of moments with hope and resilience.

• Purpose and Direction: Like a compass pointing north, my faith keeps me aligned with my purpose and calling. It reminds me that I’m part of a bigger plan orchestrated by a loving Creator, instilling in me a sense of direction and clarity amidst life’s distractions.

• Inner Peace and Strength: In the hustle and bustle of daily life, my faith offers me a sanctuary of inner peace and strength. It’s in those quiet moments of prayer and reflection that I find solace, knowing that I’m not alone in my journey. This inner peace empowers me to face challenges head-on, confident in the knowledge that God’s grace sustains me.

Having faith isn’t just about believing in something; it’s about anchoring your life in a greater purpose and trusting in a love that never fails. So, I invite you to ponder: What anchors you? What keeps you steadfast in the midst of life’s uncertainties? For me, it’s the unshakeable faith in God’s unfailing love and promises.
