🫖 AFTERNOON TEA 🫖 During our Paris + London Spring '25 trip, we included an afternoon tea experience at the historic Harrods in London. The experience did not disappoint, and the food, ambience, and service exceeded expectations. Let's take you with us on the journey.
1. A picture of the luxurious room where it happened.
2. Our stop at reception to check in for our 2:15pm reservation.
3. Fellow guests enjoying their own dining experience.
4. Our semi-private alcove was tucked away in the corner, which provided a clear view of the entire room.
5. Look at this menu. I chose "The Georgian" at Harrods because of their assortment of sandwiches and desserts and extensive tea list. No one else compared. The others can't compete where they don’t compare.
6. The tea service . . . impeccable.
7. & 8. The tea sandwiches . . . divine.
9. & 10. The serving of scones and patisserie were outstanding. The wood boxes of plain and raisin stones sealed the experience for me. Have you ever? We have.
11. & 12. being EXTRA when the occasion calls for it. We're dining at Harrods and there's nothing basic about that.
13. The "take away" boxes with fabric handles were top tier as well. We couldn't finish it all.
14. "Look Up!" Mirrors in the ceiling. Say, "Cheese!"
It started well and crushendoed on an ultimate high. We can’t recommend this experience enough and we will take the opportunity to fly into London in the future for more afternoon tea . See you soon!
