We had a great time starting the morning at Habana Cafe before it opened and then exploring the streets of Nolita with this lovely family visiting from Norway. Their session was full of movement, laughter, and just enjoying the city together.

It’s always fun to turn a photoshoot into a little adventure, capturing moments that feel real and full of life.

Fall leaves are the best! 🍂 We took a route from the Upper West Side to Central Park, and the photos turned out gorgeous! This is our third session together. Last year was a calm, sweet newborn session, and this year was all nonstop running around—the boys were so full of energy! •Fun times • This 2024 fall season has been pure magic for SHK. Lucky us! 🍂✨

“Times Sq at 8:30am might be my new favorite spot! A sunny, bright day with lights coming from every angle makes it feel like you’re inside a movie scene. 🎬 I’ve been photographing this boy since he was 3, and now he’s already 8!! This fall has been especially inspiring. Me, Mariliana, and my amazing team have been exploring NYC in fresh new ways—discovering new routes and embracing the idea that New York is truly our playground. 🏙️✨ ”

“Love, love, love seeing the same families year after year!! 💕 These girls are absolutely adorable—total city kids at heart, yet they can’t resist climbing trees! 🌳 Prospect Park is always a favorite spot for them, and I just love the idea of a city park being their backyard. It’s so special to create these lasting memories with them every year. 🏙️✨

When grandparents come to town, it’s always fun to explore places that aren’t packed with tourists! For this family session, our SHK photographer Michelle suggested the Brooklyn Navy Yard — open spaces, ships in the background, no crowds, and a cool industrial vibe. Grandpa loved the unique spots, and the grandkids had an absolute blast exploring! 🙌💙 .

Over the past decade, Stylish & Hip Kids Photography has grown from a solo business with me, Mariliana as the photographer, creative director, and all other things to a bigger crew that has involved friends and family. This past year though we’ve been on a new journey, building a team of photographers who I’ve been excited to work with, learn from, and train on our SHK signature style and approach to family photography.

I’m excited to introduce this diverse and talented creatives. They’re genuine, honest, and bring such a good vibe to every shoot.
