We are always grateful for you, and the wonderful children and adults we have the privilege of working with - - but never more so than during this turbulent year. On this day of global giving and unity, we ask that you please support ATW as we work tirelessly to bring the community together through creativity by:
-working with our temporary housing facility partners in the Bronx to teach and feed homeless children at our Builders of the New World Holiday Class and Celebration for youth in December.
-giving talented, committed, altruistic people from across the U.S. and in NYC the opportunity to engage together, combat isolation and serve the community in our expanding, combination in-person and virtual volunteer program.
-teaching people creative techniques to change their energy, accept differences, and find their voice in a free, interactive class and lecture series, Coming Together Through Creativity, led by ATW’s founder Thurman E. Scott.
-safely updating and reopening our space to the public, as a home for arts organizations to do their work and community members to learn. The rental business helps us keep the doors open to the community and fund our programs.
