xploring this ‘intercultural’ concept in music and dance at the Lizarraga Academy which was founded in Venezuela in the early 70’s by her mother Lilian. A result of such effort is the international success of her show ‘Venezuela Viva’. Today, the Lizarraga Academy is a factory of ‘intercultural’ dancers, many of them settled in different parts of the world promoting a variety of dances and their multiple mixtures.
