Greetings all. It's the Thrillmatic one, back again with another Bandcamp Friday sure shot. This time, I've reworked one of my favorite tunes from Lalah Hathaway's "Vantablack" album, "Clearly". I LOVE the tune and wanted to make it more dancefloor friendly, but purposely kept it in the groovy mid-tempo pocket it was already in (We need more 110-118 bpm BANGERS IMO lol). Enjoy!!!

This time I decided to take a stab at remixing some Nas joints, two well known and two not so well known, to put my own spin on em. 📢 New Playlist Alert: For those of you who've been following for some time, you may remember my "Shecky's Sunday Coolout" series I did some years back where I compiled 10 tunes from my vinyl collection per volume (there were 9, but for some reason I can't find vol. 1) and put a link for people to download for a limited time. Lately I'd been getting some inquiries on when or if I'd start it again. Well, for those who are interested, I have begun the process of transferring those compilations to Spotify as playlists, beginning with these two you see here. I was challenged by my homie DJ Class6 to do a House version of one of her favorite slow jams, as she said she'd offered the challenge to others but to no avail.
