🎄 It’s the FINAL DAY of the Port Gingerbread Festival! 🎄

Join us today from 12–4 PM to soak in every last bit of holiday magic before the doors close for the season.

🗳️ People’s Choice voting closes at 3 PM TODAY, so make sure your favorite gingerbread creation gets your vote!

🎁 Winners for ALL prizes — People’s Choice, scavenger hunt hints, and raffles — will be announced by 4 PM, so stick around for the big reveals!

Come get into "an A-frame of mind", visit your pal Snoopy, or cozy up with a cup of tea as your explore these gingerbread marvels with childlike wonder! 😲

❤️ We continue to be so grateful to our volunteers and our sponsors, especially our lead sponsor Institution for Savings who has supported us with generous grants from the beginning, for this years festival success — the creativity, generosity, and community spirit on display has been truly magical. 🎉 The BIG day is here! 🎉

The Port Gingerbread Festival officially kicks off today at 4 PM EST and we could not be more excited!

Yesterday, our incredible volunteers worked tirelessly to transform the event hall into a festive wonderland — thank you all so much for your hard work and holiday spirit! ❤️🎄

And our gingerbread makers? They have *absolutely outdone themselves* this year. While we can’t share photos just yet, trust us… these creations are next level. We have many new participants and many returning favorites — one even shared that they’ve been waiting all year for this moment!

✨ What’s happening today:

* Final touches go on the event hall
* A warm welcome reception
* Judging begins with our panel including professional chefs and architects
* Five gingerbread houses will be selected for a special raffle!

Today we begin to prep for our 3rd Annual Port Gingerbread Festival! 🍬🏠

We will be seeing for the first time over 50 sweet creations as they get dropped off tonight and staged for you to see tomorrow! ✨

As we ready the hall for our opening on Friday evening, we want to extend a large thank you to the Law Office of Judy A. Field, PC for being our sponsor and believing in our passion project! We hope we make you proud Judy! 💖

Making these creations, whether a glorious Victorian conservatory (which was Angela's first ever entry!) or gathering around the table with your kiddos to make a delightfully sweet lake house, gingerbread makes people smile.

Our gingerbread artists have outdone themselves this year - you’ll spot everything from a gingerbread clock counting down to opening day, to a pirate ship ready to whisk you away on a sugary adventure, to a farm-fresh gingerbread tractor rolling in holiday cheer. 🚜🏴‍☠️🕰️

With 50+ gingerbread creations, a festive scavenger hunt, raffles, door prizes, and more, there’s something magical for everyone!

A huge shout-out to our friends at Avita in Newburyport! Culinary Director Alex Duda and his fantastic crew have baked 500 gingerbread cookies for the festival which opens this coming Friday, Dec 12th. Thank you Avita and Alex for such a generous and delicious donation. 👨‍🍳🍪♥️

Alex also donates his time as one of our contest judges! Last year during the 2024 competition, this stunning gingerbread tractor caught his eye! 🚜

It was created by Nourishing the North Shore, the non-profit designated to receive all proceeds from the festival.
