It's a banner day, with more than 50 gingerbread showpieces scheduled to appear for the exhibition opening this Friday! Many thanks to our "Sparkling Sugar Sponsors" Matter Communications and Jim Barbere Photography for essential support that makes this event possible! Imagination is running rampant in kitchens from Ipswich and Georgetown up to Hampton and Hampstead. We can promise not only a farm but some heavy farm equipment! A ferocious match-up on ice, cottages, dream houses, and a monstrous castle! And that's just the start...see you this weekend at Central Congregational Church!

Newburyport attorney Judy Field got a special visit from Gingerbread Jack at her office on Pleasant Street. He came to thank her for leading the way to a successful season as a Royal Icing Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Port Gingerbread Festival. Judy's got a soft spot for gingerbread in her heart, having baked with her grandmother when she was just a wee child growing up in Byfield. (The sign in the photo is a tell that she's a local native!) Thanks, Judy, from the whole team at Port Gingerbread Festival!
