Check out some delicious goodness 🤤, and tips that will answer your questions about vendor meal etiquette!

WHO:
Consider vendors who will be present at your event for 4 hours or more that covers dinner.
typically:
• Photographer + 2nd Shooter
• Videographer + 2nd Shooter
• Planner/Coordinator + team
• DJ/Band
• Photobooth
• Service Staff/Bartenders

WHEN:
• Around the time the couple/guests eats (Should be done when the night kicks off for Toasts)
• DJ/Band eats at cocktail hour or at the same time guests are eating, depending on their schedule.

WHERE:
Ideally, a table that is separate from the event space, but close enough to check in if needed.
Why can’t Vendors bring their own meal?
Check your contracts first. Some vendors may require it.
Logistics, such as the time it may take to walk to the vehicle and come back.
Temperature control, such as keeping food cold or having a way to warm it up.

Pro tip:
• Discuss vendor meal prices with your caterer.
• Let them know how many people will be eating, so they can ensure to have enough plates and utensils.
• Provide their dietary restrictions.

BL is a lifestyle brand. Although our foundation was built on planning and executing beautiful weddings for our Clientele, we understand that life happens beyond the wedding day 🤍✨.

Our passion and love for artistry touches all aspects of our lives, and we appreciate those moments with friends and family just as much….from intimate dinner parties to birthdays, baby showers, house warmings, and anniversaries. This is a reason why we have expanded to other event types.

Our top tips for designing a table arrangement for your next intimate soirée:

1. Open up roses by gently rubbing them upside down between your palms, and by pulling back the outer petals.

2. Trim each stem at an angle.

3. Choose your color palette in advance.

4. Use a few different lengths to create texture.

5. Change your water every 1-2 days. We mix ours with sprite!

Coordination has commenced for these sweet lovebirds! As we head into a busy weekend, we also prepare for the week ahead and we can’t wait for the final walkthrough of Katie and Cori! We will also be connecting with middle GA businesses, who we have been looking forward to working with.

Who typically attends a final walkthrough? While it’s usually your planning/coordination team and the venue, catering, florals, and designers will sometimes attend. Really, any one of your hired vendors are welcome, if they would like to see the space in order to fulfill their duties on your big day!

Some of the things we look for are: where special events will be taking place, the flow of traffic for your guests, where we should place our team at certain times, division of responsibilities, floor layout, electricity sockets, lighting, parking, loading/unloading docks, groom and bridal suites, bathrooms, bar, storage areas, and so much more.

That way…you don’t have to, and you can focus on dancing the night away 😊🤍

With each new wedding, we never forget the details of previous weddings or how much we loved working with our couple, and spending time with their favorite people.

Rest assured, our team will bring up a cherished memory from time to time…whether it be, “ Do you remember that gorgeous dress?” Or, “Did you see how the groom looked at her, as she walked down the aisle?” Also, “The flowers! There were so many flowers, and they were so beautiful.”

We recently started coordinating for a sweet couple, who will be getting married at one of our favorite venues, . I looked back on photos that were sent to us by our bride from our last wedding there, and I am just so in love with these black and white photos taken by, .

Not only are the bride and groom amazing humans, but their autumn 🍂 wedding was beyond lovely. The night was cool, the leaves that hung above the outdoor patio during the ceremony were shades of gold and orange, the music from filled the air, the food was perfect 🤌🏼

Let’s talk Save the Dates 🖤🤍🖤

While this is a part of your wedding budget that you could skip, sending out Save the Dates will add a few awesome perks. We recommend that they are sent no later than 6 months out so that guests have the opportunity to request time off, book flights and other accommodations sooner.

This is also a great way to direct guests to your gorgeous wedding website, which should house a wealth of information for them to come back to at any given point leading up to your wedding date.

Make sure to include these:
- Both your full names
- Your Wedding Date

- Wedding website
