🌿 Team Spotlight: Anna Grace 🌿

Anna Grace’s journey with Goosefoot began in the kitchen, but today she shines in a new role as Client Concierge. She is the steady presence behind the scenes, ensuring every client receives the thoughtful, high-touch support that Goosefoot Cook and Grow is known for. From coordinating details to anticipating needs, she’s the connective thread that makes each experience seamless and personal.

That said, Anna Grace hasn’t hung up her apron completely. You’ll still find her stepping into the kitchen for intimate dinner parties, bringing the same skill and warmth she’s carried throughout her culinary career.

Born in The Hague to diplomat parents and a Cincinnati resident for the past 18 years, Anna Grace has a global perspective and a deeply rooted love of food. A graduate of the Midwest Culinary Institute, she has worked as both a baker and chef. Some of her sweetest food memories are standing at the sink with her mom and grandmother, peeling apples for homemade pie — a reminder that the heart of food is connection.

We’re so grateful for the many ways Anna Grace helps us grow. ✨

In our kitchens, every choice matters, from the ingredients we source to the way we store them. That’s why at Goosefoot Cook & Grow, you’ll only ever find glass containers holding our food.

Here’s why:
👉 Food safety first. Glass doesn’t leach microplastics or chemicals into your food EVER. It keeps flavors pure and meals as nourishing as they were meant to be.
👉 Better for the planet. Unlike plastic, glass doesn’t warp, stain, or pile up in landfills. We can use it again and again without compromise.
👉 Fresher, longer. Glass seals tight, locks in freshness, and makes it easy to see exactly what’s inside. No more mystery leftovers in cloudy containers.

🌿 It may seem like a small detail, but the way food is stored is part of the story of how it’s grown, cooked, and shared. To us, glass means safety, sustainability, and respect for what we create.

Today we honor the hands, hearts, and hard work that make food possible from the farmers who nurture the soil to the cooks who bring seasonal harvests to the table.

Labor Day is a reminder that food is never just “from the store.” It’s grown, harvested, prepared, and served by people—each step shaped by skill, care, and dedication. We believe in fair labor practices, supporting local growers, and honoring the people behind every ingredient.

Here’s to building a food system rooted in respect for the land, for the labor, and for each other.

We believe in equality for the women who nourish, lead, and create change from the ground up.

At Goosefoot Cook & Grow, our work is rooted in honoring the land, uplifting local food traditions, and building stronger communities. Our team of women chefs love to share food as an act of care and empowering their clients to lead healthier lives.

Equality is about more than opportunity—it’s about having a seat at the table, a voice in the conversation, and the ability to create a future where both people and the planet can thrive.

Here’s to the women planting seeds for generations to come.

Today, we’re celebrating our friend and fellow food entrepreneur, MK Hennigan, founder of

From her Kentucky roots to creating a brand that blends Southern hospitality with modern flavor, MK has always carried an entrepreneurial spirit. After years in visual merchandising, management, and the corporate world with brands like Waterford Crystal and Mariposa, MK took the leap in 2020 to found In the Curious Kitchen, a space where recipes, gifts, and southern traditions come to life.
As she says:

“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I looked at customers as my own business. I was a consultant more than a sales rep—we shared thoughts and ideas. It was a collaborative relationship. I loved it.”

Raised among strong women who embodied generosity, creativity, and the joy of feeding others, MK’s grandmothers and mother shaped her love of food and entertaining. From watching her grandmother whip up biscuits and pimento cheese from memory to carrying on family traditions at Christmas, her story is rooted in connection through food.

Her mission? To bring people together around the table with updated meal ideas, handcrafted cocktail recipes, and edible gifts that carry the warmth of Southern hospitality. We love being part of a thriving local food community—especially alongside food artisans like MK, who has been such an incredible resource, sharing small business strategy and support. 🌱 We’re proud to celebrate entrepreneurs like MK who remind us that food is never just about eating—it’s about stories, heritage, and building community.

💚 Here’s to MK and all the visionaries shaping the future of food and hospitality.
