Happy Birthday Princess Melina! We are so honored to have been a part of your life, and to continue to be a part of your legacy. Hold your loved ones a little closer this holiday season

Today is about more than just my Melina. Today I hope that we can honor my Melina and your loved one in heaven. Today is a birthday party for all. As much as my heart hurts the love will be that much brighter to share with all of you! Tonight we light two candles and tonight we choose Joy! Happy Birthday baby girl! Always love you more 💚🌈💚

Every year I have asked if you would be willing to light a candle at seven o’clock for Melina on her birthday. I always wanted her to have the largest birthday cake. But this year after a week of challenges I realized Melina loved her birthday. But Melina didn’t love her birthday because it was her day, Melina loved her birthday parties! Melina LOVED her friends and family. Melina‘s birthday parties were over the top. To Melina it was never enough!! Her fourth birthday was cheeto, with fancy Nancy, and then of course she asked to have Cinderella stop by!! But during every party I watched her run around and spend time with every guest. Melina made sure everyone felt that it was their day too.

Over the last four years I have learned how challenging life can be. And sadly I know I am not the only one who lost a piece of my heart. I can’t have a physical presence with my Melina for her birthday. But I can talk about her and I can share her. Because of all of you I’ve gotten to do that this week. But if I really want to live like Melina I know she wouldn’t just want a candle on her day. She would want to share it with all of you and the pieces of your heart in heaven too.

So this year let’s throw a party together! Melina’s birthday party filled with special guests! This year I ask you to light two candles on your porch, one for my Melina, and the second candle for your loved one to see. I know my girl is the best birthday host around. I can promise you the attire will be Cheeto. The theme can vary, but Cinderella will stop by to sing! The guests will be eating cake pops, and drinking Frappuccinos. There will be smiles. There will be laughs. And the one thing I know for sure is there will be JOY, because well there’s NEVER ENOUGH💚🌈💚
