π¨βπ³ Meet Manuel Rodriguez, the culinary mastermind behind the scenes!
Not only is he the Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for Innisfree Hotels, but he's also the creative force at MR Catering & Consulting alongside CEO Sindy Hernandez. With over two decades of culinary experience, Manuel has had the privilege of cooking for presidents, royalty, and celebrities.
Originally from Washington, D.C., he made his way to Florida in 2020, where he directed the food and beverage operations at Innisfree's SpringHill Suites in Panama City Beach, one of the nation's top oceanside destinations. His exceptional skills quickly earned him a more significant role, and in 2021, Innisfree promoted him to oversee dining and drinking experiences across their Gulf Coast properties in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and South Carolina.
Manuel's culinary expertise spans a wide range of cuisines, from South American and Caribbean to Italian, Greek, Spanish, and American. This knowledge allows him to incorporate local ingredients and flavors into exciting and delicious dining concepts at over two dozen Innisfree properties.
Before joining Innisfree, Manuel was a sought-after executive chef and private caterer in the nation's capital. His culinary talents have earned him numerous prestigious awards and accolades, including Regional Chef of the Year and recognition for running some of the top Latin American restaurants in D.C. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, giving back to his community, and cherishing moments with his family.
