Many thanks to all our students that make up the WJHS Choirs and Theatre Troupe! This has truly been a successful year. The choirs earned KMEA District and State Distinguished Ratings, the Show Choir won their second Grand Championship, along with all the groups winning several awards at Music in the Parks, while the Theatre Troupe gave a wonderful Fall Production, the Greek Mythology Olympiaganza, and a great Spring Production, Mamma Mia!

Thank you to our Seniors who put in a lot of time, work, and effort to make both programs successful. They have left a mark that the classes moving up will have a lot of work to do!

This is also SO TRUE with choir and theatre as well! There are SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES in choir and theatre!

We have Chorale, Concert Choir, A Ca****la, and Show Choir! So much musical styles used in our performances!

In theatre, we have musicals, but we also have plays that expand and challenge our thespians. Again, we also have areas in theatre including tech, crew, hair and makeup, publicity, house management.

SO MUCH A STUDENT CAN DO IN THE PERFORMING ARTS AT WEST!!
