Summer Sounds Summer Sounds is a community band concert series, held at Mystic River Park, Cottrell Street, Mystic, CT. at 7PM Tuesday evenings from June 17 - August 5.

Hosted by the Noank-Mystic Community Band, Summer Sounds is a community band concert series now in its eighteenth season. Concerts will be held on Tuesdays June 17 - August 5 at 7PM. Concerts are sponsored by area businesses and local civic organizations. Admission is free; bring lawn chairs /blankets.

The Noank-Mystic Community Band will host the 27th annual Summer Sounds concert series for June 11 - August 6. Concerts will take place on Tuesday evenings at 7PM in Mystic River Park, Mystic, CT (by the drawbridge).
Concert schedule:

June 18 - As Time Goes By swing band
June 25 - Thames River Big Band
July 2 - Time & Changes Jazz Orchestra
July 9 - Middletown Symphonic Band
July 16 - Waterford Community Band
July 23 - Old Lyme Town Band
July 30 - Westerly Band
August 6 - Noank-Mystic Community Band
There is no rain date.

Concerts are sponsored by Charter Oak Federal Credit Union
(major sponsor) and local businesses and civic organizations, along with support from the Connecticut Office of the Arts, which also receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
All concerts are free and family friendly. Bring lawn chairs/blankets. And picnics are always welcome!

The Noank-Mystic Community Band will host the 26th annual Summer Sounds concert series in Mystic River Park, Cottrell Street, Mystic on Tuesdays, from June 13 – August 15. Concerts, which feature a different community music group each week, will begin at 7PM.
These concerts are made possible by Summer Sounds’ major sponsor Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, with other support from local businesses and civic groups.
The Noank-Mystic Community Band is also a proud recipient of a CT Cultural Fund Operating Support grant from CT Humanities with funding from the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development/Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA). CT Humanities is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs/blankets and enjoy the music in this beautiful park next to the Mystic Drawbridge!

Another Summer Sounds has reached its end; this one was our 25th! It was a great series with great bands, and thankfully, no rain!
We have so many that we must thank –
-Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, for being our major sponsor and helping to keep Summer Sounds continuing year to year.
-CT Humanities, for the grant for Summer Sounds through the Noank-Mystic Community Band.
- Our local Sponsors – Rotary Club of Mystic, Mystic Lions Club, Mystic Woman’s Club, Market Realty LLC (Judi Caracausa), and Densmore Oil. These organizations/companies have been loyal supporters of Summer Sounds for many years, and deserve much appreciation.
