HEY EVERYONE!

We are so excited for our first Youth Event of the summer coming up in a few days!!! We will be streaming the new movie If (PG) with Ryan Reynolds! This movie is about what happens to our imaginary friends after we grow up!

We encourage families to bring a blanket, pillow, stuffy or whatever your kiddos would like to be comfy & cozy! Tables and chairs will also be available!

We will have a small concessions stand working as well and possible a surprise guest!

How did we end up with a $100 gift card from The Greenhouse for our Petapalooza silent auction? It's a neat story; for months Vivian, a helper at The Greenhouse followed along on social media as volunteers tried to capture a dog called "Bonnie the Bandit." Bonnie was a stray in Norman, OK who evaded capture and would leave stolen pillows and other items for her would be captures. Eventually, through much diligence and patience, EarthMother Rescue got Bonnie and made her ready for adoption.

When I went by the greenhouse today to get some plants, Vivian helped me out to my car and told me that her husband of 25 years had never had a dog, and was deeply afraid of them. Now Bonnie and her husband are inseparable.

So if you see a gift card from The Greenhouse at our auction know that it's because of the heroic efforts of a few volunteers in memory of Bonnie (who sleeps next to her sister "Cookie" every night now). We hope to see you at this very wonderful (indoor air conditioned!) event this Saturday at Up Together Venue: 428 East Main St. in Downtown Norman from 10 AM to 2 PM.

We searched and searched for the *perfect* curated image for our social feeds today. We have hundreds of beautiful images we’ve taken over the years highlighting RC’s core values: community, inclusion, knowledge, passion, and teamwork. We are so grateful running brings these values into our lives every day!

Finally we settled on a perfectly imperfect image of our original brand inspiration, our Red Coyote, Pancho.
