I’ve had a difficult time justifying posting about cakes, marketing or selling product, sharing any joyous moments (although I’ve had them). It’s been tough to allow myself the privilege of joy or mindlessness during all I know personally is going on in #Cuba. But, today I decided to let both things thrive. I can feel joy and pain, I can fight and love, I can live in duality without guilt. All the while remembering that, that is also a privilege afforded to me by freedom. Today, I allowed myself to continue to do what I love and post and promote my business, because that is exactly what the people of Cuba are asking for. The ability to live freely and of their own accord. Who am I but the daughter of, grand daughter of, niece of, people that risked their lives so they can also have this and create generations of free people (hopefully).

McKensies cake is a tres leche with Dulce de leche filling and Aubreys cake is a vanilla, Dulce de Leche/Ferrero Rocher filling. I topped both cakes with beautiful @sweettoothfairy sprinkles and @suncorefoods Superbloom Dried Rose Buds. Name ribbons made possible by @sweet.stamp
