A year ago today, I was standing barefoot in the warm Tulum sand, photographing two people completely wrapped up in each other. Their rehearsal night wasn’t some big production—just the ocean, the waves chasing their ankles, and that soft glow you only get on a Mexican coastline.
There’s something about Tulum that slows time down. The way the breeze moves through her dress, the way he brushed the saltwater from her face, the way they melted into each other like no one else existed. It felt intimate. Effortless. Like documenting a secret they were letting me in on.
Here’s to the kind of love that makes the world get quiet…
And the moments that remind me why I do what I do.
