It's a sad day for the garden. The frost has hit my dahlias and marks the end of the season. It truly has been an amazing journey this year and I look forward to next season. We have a lot of cool stuff planned and we will have an even better selection for the U-Pick. I hope to see you all then!

Wish you could see them better. They are everywhere!
My two gardens are coming along nicely. They really needed the rain! The smaller garden has 12 rows 4' x 100' the second garden (video in comments) is 8 rows - 5'x200'. I didn't quite get to 700 dahlias but there are definitely over 500. Many were not good by the time I got to them and I gave several away. I just ran out of time unfortunately. I got a little too ambitious for just one me!
It is definitely a full time job and a lot for me to handle but I enjoy every minute of it! Now if I would just get some more blooms!
My dahlia tuber cuttings are doing great! I will definitely get a start much sooner next year so that I can get the most out of each tuber. This has been a great learning journey and a fun winter project when there is little else to do.
My seeds saved from the Floret bees choice are doing great too. I have over 400 popping up now! I have some Cafe au Lait saved seeds started also and I am excited to see what kind of wonderful comes from each one!
Life's a garden! Dig it!
