Daddy's birthday called for some pancit, so I made some pancit canton. Mario fixed a place for Dad to watch a movie with his dinner, dessert, and his flowers. Little Mermaid was in order, for that was the story he told me when I was younger, but not the one with the Disney ending.

We saw my daddy today. Mario fixed the flowers with all this gusty wind. Tstopped by the library, playing games while Mario checked out some movies. We'll prepare a nice celebration tonight.

Today's adventure was visiting our neighbor and friend who recently passed away. She was sweet, witty, and she adored my brother, who helped her with fixing her home or chasing birds out of her house. He was unable to attend her funeral, but today, he got to say farewell to her. First time there. The morning frost melted and made the grounds muddy. We were all a bunch of stuck in mud. She was worth it and saddened my heart that my brother had to say goodbye to his good friend, Theresa Blackburn 😔

To help warm up the house and to lengthen my brother's menu, I taught him how to make a quiche. It also helped us reduce our leftovers. Here's Mario and his first quiche 😂

It was warm yesterday with rain all day. The temperature dropped and at around 3am, it turned to snow. It made me so happy to see snow for my family celebration.

Since my family celebrated Christmas early with me, it was only fitting to follow with a New Year’s Celebration a week later. Mom sang Karaoke with us, danced a bit, then we counted down, made a bunch of noise, toasted, ate, and watched a movie. I helped Mario make his first pumpkin pie. It was delicious and it made the house smell yummy! Here's some pics and videos...
