Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, in the heart of Beef Country and quick hour drive to the Southwest cuisines of New Mexico, Chef Erich spent his youth always on the heels of his southern grandmothers, curiously inquiring of their every move in the kitchen and lending a hand whenever permitted. This passion for food and entertaining followed him through life, and he took every opportunity to ima
gine, create, and test out his dishes on friends, family, and coworkers. After pursuing a career and studies in the pharmacy field, an opportunity arose and he was called to follow that passion for food. He began his education in the culinary arts and never looked back. Guided by the hand of World Master Chef Sean Daniels, he embarked on his decade long career marrying those classic European techniques with his own flair for exotic cuisine. He has become a master of layering flavors and on each of his travels around the world, he finds unique ways to incorporate new ingredients and flair into his cuisine. However, in each dish he creates, the lucky recipient will always find a hint of the comfort and love from his grandmothers’ kitchens nestled in the Panhandle of Texas.
